A brief explanation of what Clark Estes Apartments offers
Clark Estes Apartments is a Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Affordable Family Housing building. What this means is that our rent is more affordable for the neighborhood, but residents are responsible for the full rent. To qualify an applicant cannot earn more than 60% of the area median income for their family size. Housing Choice Vouchers (HCV) are accepted. Residents are responsible for paying 100% of the rent.
15 of the 54 units at Clark Estes Apartments are under contract with CHA. What this means is that a small percentage of our units are reserved for CHA applicants. CHA supplies the applicants for these units. If you would like a CHA unit, please contact CHA directly and request that Clark Estes Apartments be added to your selections.
Housing Choice Vouchers (HCV) and Section 8 are accepted at Clark Estes Apartments. Please provide this information in the notes on the pre-application card when applying for our waitlists.
